One of the best goalkeepers Ghana has even seen, Sammy Adjei, affectionately called Barthez (named after the legendary French goalkeeper Fabien Barthez), was reduced to tears after Twellium Foundation led by Asamoah Gyan gifted him ¢10,000.

The donation was made to the Hearts of Oak legend on Thursday at Accra Academy and it coincided with the unveiling of Twellium Industries new product.

The former Black Stars number one goalie attended the event alongside other former Black Stars players Laryea Kingston, Baffour Gyan and John Paintsil as well as current Black Stars goalkeeper, Fatau Dauda.

The gesture by Gyan’s foundation was highly appreciated by the former Hearts of Oak goalkeeper who expressed his emotions by shedding tears when he received the dummy cheque.
