Four buses belonging to the Aayalolo transit company was burnt completely after it caught fire in the evening of Wednesday 23rd December 2020 in the Ashanti Regional capital, Kumasi.

According to reports, these buses which were engaged under the auspices of the Transport Ministry with oversight supervision from the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly were parked at the STC terminal at Oforikrom.

It took the swift and tact intervention of the Ghana Fire Service to douse the flames and prevent the fire from spreading to other cars parked at the terminal.

Authorities have begun investigations into the cause of the fire since what actually led to the inferno is still unknown although many believe it was a planned arson.

Meanwhile, there have been growing concerns among Ghanaians following the rampant fire outbreaks at markets and other public places. These concerns have been heightened by Kennedy Agyapong who alleges that some NDC people are behind it.
