Rapper Sarkodie has landed himself in trouble for speaking about the ongoing strike of trotro drivers saying all we ask for is the right environment to hustle and be productive as Ghanaians.
Trotro drivers in some parts of Accra have embarked on a sit-down strike to demonstrate over the hike in fuel prices refusing to take passengers to their workplace or destination leaving some stranded not knowing what to do.
Sarkodie in a tweet reacted to that saying the people are going through hardship and everything and we always do but all we are asking for is the right environment to hustle and be productive and this tweet has landed him in trouble as he’s being dragged on Twitter over it.
Some tweeps reacting to that dragged Sarkodie because of a statement he made asking the president to continue with the good works he’s been doing in one of his songs and now he’s trying to sympathize with us and the harsh words used to drag him is just too much.
The fact that Sarkodie hailed the president in one of his songs doesn’t mean he can’t reprimand him when he feels things aren’t going well but some people don’t see it like that and have dragged him over that.
