Presiding Bishop of Perez Chapel International, Rev Dr Charles Agyinasare has noted that a country as small as Ghana should not be employing more than 80 ministers, insisting it is a drain on the country’s resources.

In a 10-point note addressed to President Akufo-Addo and his government, the Bishop called for prudent use of state resources to the benefit of the masses and cut down on employees at the flagstaff house.

“A small country like ours that is always having a budget deficit and looking for foreign aid to balance our budget should not have more than 80 ministers, otherwise, it would be a waste of our resources; adding, “there should be a significant reduction of the staff in the flagstaff house.”

Bishop Charles Agyinasare is a Ghanaian pastor who founded the Word Miracle Church International, later Perez Chapel International, a Pentecostal-Charismatic ministry in Ghana. He is the founder of Precious TV, Chancellor of the Perez University College and author of several books on Christianity.
